Shin chan VS upin & ipin

VS

have you heard about shin chan, a cartoon series on NTV 7?? Shin chan is a funny little boy character age around 5-6 years old. what wrong with this little cute boy?? i can say that there is elements of discrimination and manipulation toward women. in this animation movie, his mother, Misaie is being portrayed as a hot-temped mother, clumsy, shopaholic and violence mother but his father is vice versa. she always slap her child and her husband because of small tiny thing. besides, shin chan always looking and behave inappropriately in front of young, beautiful and sexy women. furthermore, many of the jokes in the Shin-chan's cartoon occasionally weird, unnatural and inappropriate use of language as well as from his inappropriate behavior. In Malaysia Shin chan's comic is titled as Dik Cerdas. Like in South Korea, pictures revealing Shin-chan's genitals were all censored by cutting the scenes. in japan, most Japanese said that this anime series is violence and parent didn't allow their children to watch this anime because of shin chan's inappropriate behaviour. even this is only an anime series, and it may look stu*id when all this things, i believe some of you would agree with me. maybe i'm too sensitive, but ... Frankly speaking, shin chan is not a good anime series that our generation should being exposed. maybe it is okay for teenagers or adult to watch this series, but not the young generation. it will give negative effects on their perception, mind as well as their behaviour.

as an alternative, we can watch upin & ipin series which it good and heavy with moral value. furthermore, it is a Malaysia product and we should support it. it is full of islamic value and suitable with our culture. it's graphic technology and messages show that Malaysia also can produce a good quality product.

*quality is better than quantity.
